REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Bartlett, Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals to repair the erosion
and stabilize the banks along the side slopes of Stoneridge Pond by installing a geosynthetic
shoreline stabilization system (e.g., SOX Erosion Solutions™, Filtrexx®, or equivalent system).
The Project also includes erosion control, sod, and all associated work. Although this project does
not require a TDEC SWPPP, the Proposer shall implement Erosion Prevention and Soil
Conservation (EPSC) Best Management Practices (BMP’s) as required by the City of Bartlett and
the TN Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC).

Sealed proposals are to be received no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Contractors/proposers must attend a MANDATORY pre-bid on-site meeting at Stoneridge Park,
3525 Altruria Road, Bartlett, TN 38135 at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. This site visit is
to familiarize the contractors/proposers of the site and conditions, address any questions, and
provide any additional information. Failure to attend this on-site meeting will result in the
rejection of your proposal. If you plan to attend, please provide a company name, representative
and contact number via email to Tracy Herring, Administrative Secretary, at
therring@cityofbartlett.org. A confirmation email will be returned with specific information
concerning the conference.
RFP contractors/proposers may direct inquiries for additional information to Paul Wright, CPRE,
Director of Parks and Recreation, by email at pwright@cityofbartlett.org and received no later than
2:00pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Questions and answers of significance will be posted on the city
website no later than 2:00pm on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
