Installation of Turn-Key E-House
Synopsis:

East Side Pump Station (ESPS) is located approximately 24 km northwest of the town of Loreburn, Saskatchewan and it is located on the north-east corner of Lake Diefenbaker near Gardiner Dam.

WSA has contracted with Powell Industries of Acheson, Alberta to have a modular 4160-volt switchgear building (“E-house”) fabricated. This E-house will be installed adjacent to ESPS and will replace the existing 4160V switchgear installed within ESPS.

The purpose of this RFQ is to hire a General Contractor to install the new E-house at ESPS.

The Scope of Work within this RFQ includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Construction of a concrete pier foundation for the E-house
  • Receipt and offloading of the E-house onto this foundation
  • New and modified wiring connections to tie the E-house into the 4160V feeder from the substation
  • New wiring to connect the E-house motor control centres to the irrigation pumps within the ESPS
  • Commissioning and energization of the E-house including dry and wet pump re-commissioning
  • Miscellaneous support work such as earthworks & grading, fencing, signage, and miscellaneous metals
Additional Information:
