WATER TREATMENT PLANT CHEMICAL IMPROVEMENTS

CITY OF GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA
The City of Gainesville is requesting proposals for the Water Treatment Plant Chemical
Improvements Project. The Project will consist of the chemical system improvements at the
Riverside WTP and the Lakeside WTP. The Riverside WTP improvements consist of the
replacement of the fluoride and polyphosphate feed systems with bulk storage tanks, chemical
day tanks, and chemical transfer and feed pumps. The Lakeside WTP improvements consist of
the installation of a pre-purchased onsite sodium hypochlorite generation (OSHG) system and
brine tank. Beginning on Monday, March 30, 2026, Contract Documents can be obtained from
QuestCDN (Project #9879711). Visit the Quest CDN webpage (www.questcdn.com). Prior to
downloading the Proposal Documents, Proposers will be required to set up a QuestCDN.com
account. A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conferences (TWO MEETINGS – TWO LOCATIONS) will be
held on Thursday April 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., local time at the Riverside WTP at 2120 Riverside
Drive Northeast, Gainesville, Georgia 30501 and at 2:30 p.m., local time at the Lakeside WTP at
5640 G.C. Crow Road, Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542. Proposals will be received at the
Department of Water Resources Engineering and Construction Services Division, 757 Queen City
Parkway, Gainesville, GA 30501, 1st Floor until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, April 23, 2026.
