Supply and Plant Trees

The objective of this contract is to complete, in a professional manner, City-wide Street Tree Planting project. Three hundred (300) trees are to be planted by December 1, 2025 or a mutually agreed upon schedule in writing.

This project will include one years of tree maintenance, beginning at the time of planting, to insure the proper establishment of these trees.

Planting locations are being identified as part of the current Citywide Street Tree Inventory, and will be provided to the Contractor by February 1, 2025. All planting locations will be street tree locations, within the City’s right of way. The planting sites will be identified and/or approved by the City of New Rochelle Tree Inspector.

All questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail, no later than noon, November 4,2024, to kconca@newrochelleny.com. The City will post the answers to the questions received on the City’s website no later than 4:30 p.m., November 8, 2024.

Each bid must be accompanied by a DEPOSIT in the form of certified check or cashier's check, made payable to the CITY OF NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price (CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The City will not accept a Bid Bond as a form of Bid Deposit. Any bidder who submits a Bid Bond as a form of Bid Deposit will be deemed unresponsive and the bid will be rejected.
