Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
Project # 659-25-510 Building 11 Chilled Water and Condensate Pumps
The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Brenner Ave Salisbury, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 659-25-510, to Building 11 Chilled Water and Condensate Pumps at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC.
General Scope: The Contractor shall provide, but not limited to all equipment, personnel, and services to complete replacement of existing Chilled Water Pumps and Condensate Pumps on the Ground Floor of B11 as indicated within contract documents. In these two pump rooms (G18 & G10), the contractor will remove all MEP material (pipes, ductwork, conduit, etc.) that are not in use back to their source. The walls in both rooms will be prepped, sealed, and painted. Floors in both rooms will be refinished with epoxy coating. The chilled water pump room will get a sump well installed in the floor. Contractor needs to provide temporary services while the pumps are down. Bldg. 11 runs 24-7 and the occupants cannot be impeded during shutdowns. All work, including final cleanup and completion of any punch list items, shall be performed within one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about March 18, 2025. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation.
