For Construction of Victoria Memorial Square
The scope of work includes all labour, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the park revitalization project as described below:
1.        Removal and disposal of existing hardscape elements, including unit paving, concrete paving, and rubberized surfacing.
2.        Removal of existing park furnishings, including benches, waste receptacles, play elements, park signs, and playground fence.
3.        Demolition of existing electrical system and park lighting.
4.        Demolition of existing irrigation system.
5.        In-place protection of existing heritage elements, including the War of 1812 Memorial, the tombstone memorial wall, Garrison Church corner stone, and Jane Jacobs chairs.
6.        Protection of existing trees during construction.
7.        Installation of new hardscape elements, including:
o        Unit paving, cobblestone paving, and concrete paving
o        Chipped granite fines surfaces
o        Granite block wall to define cemetery border
o        Rubberized surfacing for play area, and artificial turf for off-leash area
o        Natural stone or concrete curbs
o        Metal edging
o        Armourstone barrier along the west side of the play area
8.        Planting bed preparation, sowing of meadow areas, sod installation, and planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, and plugs.
9.        Installation of temporary fencing around all newly planted areas.
10.        Supply and installation of new park furniture, including benches, picnic tables, café tables and chairs, seating blocks, bike rings, and park signage.
11.        Supply and installation of new play equipment.
12.        Installation of low fencing around planted areas and fencing around play area and off-leash area.
13.        Installation and hook up of new drinking fountain to water supply.
14.        Installation of subdrains and filtration trench for the off-leash area, and block stone wall.
15.        Installation of new irrigation system.
16.        Installation of new light poles, bollards, floodlight fixtures, linear LED fixtures, and candle lanterns.
17.        Installation of new electrical system.
Note: Some items noted in this scope of work are optional items; inclusion in contract to be confirmed at time of contract award.

Chapter 9 Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Ontario and Quebec (OQTCA)
Pre-Bid Meeting: Mandatory Site Meeting
.1        Suppliers are required to attend a mandatory site meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project and ascertain the full extent of the Work required. The mandatory site meeting will take place at 10:00 AM on September 30, 2025 at Victoria Memorial Square, 10 Niagara Street, Toronto, at the northeast entrance. Site meetings will not be available at any other times.

.2        Suppliers must sign the attendance sheet at the mandatory site meeting during the designated date and time for their Bid to be considered.

.3        Bids submitted by Suppliers that do not attend the mandatory site meeting or fail to sign the attendance sheet shall be declared non-compliant.
