Salem Fire Station #2 Renovations & New Garage
The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from qualified Contractors for all labor, materials, and equipment needed for the renovation and new garage for Salem Fire Station #2, located at 415 S Electric Road, Salem, VA, in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2025-013.
There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at City of Salem Fire Station #2 located at 415 Electric Road, Salem, VA 24153, to answer any questions from interested parties. There will also be a site visit after the pre-bid meeting. Contractors are advised that they MUST attend the pre-bid meeting in order to submit a bid on this project.
Sealed bids will be accepted in the City of Salem Purchasing Department, located at 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia 24153, on or before 3:00 p.m., on October 24, 2024, at which time the bids will be opened. Bid documents may be obtained by calling 540-375-3063 or emailing

The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding.
No bid may be withdrawn after opening except for clerical errors, as set forth in Section 2.2-4330 of the Virginia Code. Offeror must give the City a notice in writing of the request to withdraw a bid within two (2) business days after conclusion of opening.
