| Description: | The purpose of this RFP is to solicit Offers for web strategy, design, development, and implementation services to create a comprehensive, user experience focused website that enhances navigation, accessibility, and stakeholder engagement for Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC). The selected vendor will be responsible for: • Designing and installing the new website, two additional modules, and development of two additional microsites: GTCC Foundation (https://www.gtcc.edu/community-engagement/giving-to-gtcc/index.php) and The Conference Center (https://conferencecentergtcc.com/). • Transitioning hosting from on-premises to cloud hosting with the CMS developer and implementing necessary maintenance tools. • Training key staff on ongoing use and updates. • Recommending resources for best practices in higher education web design, SEO, branding, analytics, integrations and functionality. Guilford Technical Community College serves prospective students, current students, parents, faculty and staff, and external stakeholders such as the board of trustees, donors, businesses, community members, governmental and education groups, the media, etc. The redesigned website must comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) standards (minimum Level AA) and adopt a mobile-first, responsive design approach to ensure accessibility across platforms. The website will continue to use Cascade CMS. Any licensing or copyright requirements must be clearly identified in the proposal, along with all costs associated with proprietary Content Management System (CMS) maintenance, if applicable. GTCC will retain all rights to the website content. |
