Sealed proposals will be received from qualified bidders by Davidson County Purchasing Department in the Support Services Office, located at 925 North Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292 up to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19
th,
2025 , and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for a Single Prime contract for HVAC Renovation furnishing of labor, materials and equipment for HVAC Renovation on Colonial Drive building, 211 West Colonial Drive, Thomasville, NC 27292.
Complete plans, specifications, and contract documents will be available for inspection on the Architect’s office and their website at rbsarch.com under the “Bidding Projects” tab or in the following offices:

The Project includes the following as indicated on the drawings:
Mechanical Contractor to act as General Contractor for this HVAC renovation project.
HVAC Renovation Base Bid includes Demolition & Replacement of existing Boiler, Pumps & Piping insulation - with a Bid Alternate to include New Control System for existing System of FCU and AHUs.
Note that Mechanical Contractor is required to subcontract a Licensed Electrical Contractor for all required Electrical Work.
Note: Replacement of the remaining Mechanical equipment (FCU, AHU, etc.) indicated on Mechanical Drawings is work to be done in the Future and not part of this project.
This project will utilize federal funds from the Department of Energy (DOE) and must follow all vendor/ contract requirements, including Uniform Guidance Procurement Policies.
