The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) Contracts & Procurement Department, in accordance
with the provisions of NRS Chapter 338, is currently accepting sealed Bids from qualified
Contractors, per NRS §338.1382 and licensed to work in the State of Nevada, to perform the work
of demolition of existing asphalt and concrete pavement, construction of new asphalt pavement,
storm drain improvements, removal and installation of taxiway edge lights, miscellaneous
striping, and electrical and drainage work, ancillary work associated with the Project, and to
provide all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, transportation services, permits and
fees, utilities required, and all incidental items necessary to provide the Scope of Work entitled
“Reno-Stead Airport Taxiway Alpha & Aircraft Apron Reconstruction – Phase 5.”
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM [PDT] on Friday, April 10, 2026 at
4895 Texas Ave, Reno, NV 89506. A project site walk will immediately follow the Pre-Bid Meeting.
All sealed Bids must be received and time stamped by the RTAA Contracts & Procurement
Department, 2770 Vassar St, Reno, NV 89502 by no later than 2:00 PM [PDT], Tuesday, April 28,
2026. Bids will be opened immediately following the deadline.
Solicitations and addenda are available online on the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM)
website: https://nevada.ionwave.net/. Contractors must register with the NGEM Supplier
System, and keep their contact information updated, to continue to receive ITB solicitations and
notifications. Supplier Registration profiles will be shared with all NGEM-participating
government entities.
Per the Federal Aviation Administration’s Contract Provision Guidelines for Obligated Sponsors
and Airport Improvement Program Projects dated March 17, 2026, the following provisions are
