Solicitation Description:

DPS seeks to solicit offers from qualified Respondents for a Contract that can provide a modern Contractor-provided, cloud-hosted, MSS/HFS Solution for DPS to replace the existing Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (TLETS) and Texas Crime Information Center (TCIC). TLETS provides statewide connectivity for criminal justice agencies to a variety of local, state, and federal database systems. It is linked with Nlets – the International Justice and Public Safety Network – and facilitates exchanges between Texas criminal justice agencies to their counterparts in other states. The link with Nlets allows DPS to provide critical information to the national criminal justice community and allows TLETS operators to obtain information from a variety of database services from other states, Canada, Interpol, and private companies.
