Description
1.0 TITLE
St. Mary’s River Towers, Foundation Design-Build - Stribling Point Range for Canadian Coast Guard (CCG).
2.0 DESCRIPTION
2.1 Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to:
2.1.1 Attend a kick-off meeting with the Project Authority to discuss the requirements of the project.
2.1.2 Design of two (2) site-specific concrete foundations for towers supplied by Canadian Coast Guard (CCG);
2.1.3 Legal survey of range line and crown-owned property;
2.1.4 Survey layout of the new front range location;
2.1.5 Supply and installation of two(2) concrete foundations as approved by CCG;
2.1.6 Demolition of one(1) existing skeleton-style tower and concrete foundations.
2.2 CCG Stribling Point range towers are at the end of their lifecycle and are required to be replaced. All sites are accessible by land/vehicle. Photos of the
sites can be found in Figures 1-2, Appendix A to Annex A. The exact coordinates of the sites are as follows:
2.2.1 Stribling Point LL5416 front range tower : 46°18'49.08"N, 84° 6'55.14"W
2.2.2 Stribling Point LL5417 rear range tower: 46°18'37.62"N, 84° 6'13.02"W
3.0 DELIVERY
This Contract’s completion date will be October 31, 2025.
The estimated contract period will be 3 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/07/20.
