Mobile Office Container Rental

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time).

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide for the rental of mobile office containers to the City of Newport News Department of Parks and Recreation for various events held throughout the City according to the listed specifications. The City reserves the right to add or remove events and items or services as needed throughout the contract term.

Special events are held at various locations throughout the City of Newport News throughout the year. Mobile office containers are needed because not all venues have facilities for the dry, secure storage of the miscellaneous items necessary for each specific event. Rental containers provide this secure on-site storage, as well as a space for the loading and unloading of event supplies, and secure meeting space for the event staff.
