Perdido Landfill 2025 Gas Collection & Control System Expansion

The Escambia County Waste Services Department located at 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment, FL 32533 is looking for a qualified contractor to complete a landfill gas expansion project. Project includes; survey work & system layout; installation of below grade Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) gas, air, condensation lines, and drilling extraction wells; excavation and preservation of existing infrastructure; abandonment of identified existing facilities if needed; connection of new facilities to existing facilities. Contractor responsibilities consists of, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, incidentals, and performing all work necessary to complete the project, in place and ready for service in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared therefore and entitled “Escambia 2025 GCCS Expansion Drawings_SS 9-26-2025 - Plans” & "Escambia 2025 GCCS Expansion Technical Specifications_SS 9-26-2025 - Technical Specifications" (These will be included as attachments)

The Escambia County Perdido Landfill currently utilizes a landfill gas collection and control system. Escambia County Waste Services Department maintains this system on a daily basis. This system captures the gas produced from within the landfill preventing its release into the atmosphere and minimizing odors. The landfill gas collection & control system is a compilation of extraction wells, sumps, air lines, condensate dewatering lines, gas collection lines, and system valves, a flare, and an energy recovery system.
