MGL c. 30B, Real Property Disposition
The City of North Adams and Airport Commission, through the Chief Procurement Officer, are accepting proposals for the
lease of building space, and development of a dining establishment on property adjacent to the Airport Administration
Building at North Adams Municipal Airport.
Proposals will be received until May 8, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Office of Procurement, City Hall, 10 Main Street, Room 201,
North Adams, MA and at that time and place will be publicly opened and recorded.
This property will be leased to the proposer submitting the most advantageous proposal, if in the best interest of the City.
This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of MGL c. 30B and any resulting lease will be made in
accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to waive informalities, negotiate with the
successful proposer, or to reject all proposals. The City of North Adams is not liable for any costs incurred by the proposer in
submitting this proposal.
Solicitation documents may be obtained from the Thomas Peterson, Chief Procurement Officer, North Adams City Hall, Office
of Procurement, Room 201, 10 Main St, North Adams, MA or by email: tpeterson@northadams-ma.gov. Complete sets of
solicitation documents shall be used in preparing proposals; the City does not assume any responsibility for errors or
misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of documents or for modifications to the documents including
electronic conversion.
Proposers shall examine all information and materials contained in and with this solicitation. Failure to do so shall be at the
proposer’s risk.
There will be a pre-proposal briefing and question and answer session, along with a site visit for the convenience and
consideration of potential proposers: Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 10:00 am at the North Adams Municipal Airport
Administration Building.
