The 309th AMXG Squadron has a requirement for a continuation of the development of its Ergo-Blast plastic media blast trigger, including design improvements, testing of additional prototypes, and delivery of 30 updated triggers and 10 updated grips delivered to Hill AFB.
Triton Systems Inc. (Cage Code 0VLJ1) is the recipient of Small Business Innovation Research (SIBR) Phase I and Phase II grant support for the initial research and development of the Ergo-Blast components and possesses the data and capabilities necessary to fulfill the requirement. The Government intends to issue a sole-source solicitation and subsequent contract award to Triton Systems Inc. (Cage Code 0VLJ1) as a SIBR Phase III Program, in accordance with the SIBR/SITR Reauthorization Act of 2011 (15 USC §638), and DFARS 252.227-7018.
Any other responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. In a reply, respondents shall specify whether the entity is a large business, 8(a) enterprise, a women-owned small business, a HUBZone small business, a Veteran-owned small business, or a service-disabled-Veteran-owned small business. Respondents must also detail whether they are a US-owned or foreign-owned firm. Synopsis responses should specifically address a firm’s ability to provide the services in support of the devices being developed. (end)
