The New York City Department of Correction (“DOC”) invites expressions of interest and Information from qualified firms that can provide a modern visitor fingerprint identification systems -
Visitor Fingerprint Identification System (VFIS)
capable of replacing DOC’s legacy central visits fingerprint platform, which supports inmate visitation operations across DOC facilities.
DOC reserves the right to consider information obtained from responses to this RFI to develop a Request for Proposals (RFP) that would achieve the City’s objectives. The City shall issue a subsequent RFP at its sole discretion, and any response to this RFI does not guarantee either such solicitation of an RFP or consideration for subsequent award.
