Project Description: SECTION 1 – INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that SPRINGVILLE CITY will accept RFPs to furnish the AMI System according to specifications provided in this RFP contract, and described in general as:
Provide a proposal for an Advanced Metering Infrastructure to convert all identified meters in phase 1 to an AMI system. Springville City has secured funding for phase 1, but may adjust the project's scope, either by shortening or expanding it, depending on the proposal costs.
RFPs will be accepted by Springville City online via Bonfire Hub at https://utah.bonfirehub.com until 2:00 PM (local time) on Wednesday, December 19, 2025. The sealed RFPs will be opened by the Public Works Department at Springville City Hall, 110 South Main, on Wednesday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. LATE RFPS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Springville City will then make the decision of award and contact the individual bidders with the decision on or after Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS to be executed by the winning CONTRACTOR may be obtained on or after the date of the RFP award at the Springville City Offices, upstairs in the Community Development Office. These CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will include an agreement to be signed by both the CONTRACTOR and the OWNER prior to any work commencing.
*All communication relative to the RFP and any questions which BIDDERs may have concerning the RFP shall be directed to Springville City online using the “Questions and Answers” section for this project on Bonfire. The Q&A period will conclude at 5:00 PM on December 16, 2025.
Springville City reserves the right to reject any or all RFPs; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any RFP; or to waive any informality or technicality in any RFP in the best interest of the City. Only RFPs providing a firm quotation that is properly submitted and signed will be accepted.
