Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Chittenden Keywords: General Contractor, Pedestrian Walkways Bid Description: Overview The Town of Hinesburg is developing a Town Common on municipally-owned land, behind the police station. The goal is to transform an underutilized grass lawn into a functional and thoughtful Town Common that will serve as a central community gathering place for all Town residents. The master plan will be implemented over the next 5-6 years. Planned elements include an open-air pavilion, natural playground, walking paths, entryways, benches and other seating, and substantial tree planting. Final permitting for the first phase of the project is wrapping up – i.e., Town-level site plan approval and State stormwater permitting. The first phase of construction will begin with regrading and drainage improvements per the plans and specifications developed by the project engineers (Dubois & King). We seek bids on this regrading and drainage work.
