NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below:

GSIN: N1305 – Ammunition, through 30 mm

UNSPSC: 46101601 – Defence or law enforcement ammunition

Description: Cartridge, 12 Gauge Breaching Round Ammunition

The requirement is for the supply to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) of Cartridge, 12 Gauge Breaching Round Ammunition. The Cartridge, 12 Gauge Breaching Round Ammunition are used for ballistic breaching in training and operational deployments in Urban Terrain scenarios.

Firm Quantity: 31,500 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan on or before 01 September 2026

73,500 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario on or before 01 September 2026

Optional Quantity: 18,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan between 01 June 2029 and 01 August 2029

18,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan between 01 June 2031 and 01 August 2031

42,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario between 01 June 2029 and 01 August 2029

42,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario between 01 June 2031 and 01 August 2031

Unit of Issue: Each, per cartridge

This procurement may be subject to the Controlled Goods Program

3. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
