Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations.

This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract. Award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable. The evaluation factors are:

The United States Coast Guard is seeking quotations from qualified contractors to perform comprehensive replacement of the fuel dispensing system components at U.S. Coast Guard Station Pascagoula, Mississippi. Work includes removal and disposal of the existing fuel dispenser reel and containment, installation and testing of new stainless-steel fuel dispenser reels and containment boxes for both gasoline and diesel dispensers, replacement of all mechanical inline safety devices and pressure relief valves with new stainless-steel parts, replacement of all fuel filters at main tanks and dispensers, replacement of dispenser nozzles and hoses, installation of new hose reels and covers, compliance with all federal, state, and local hazmat and safety requirements, provision of temporary toilet facilities for contractor personnel, and submission of required submittals, warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, and training for Coast Guard personnel. The total contract performance period is 30 calendar days. Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work, illustrations and POC’s for setting up site visits.

FAR 52.237-1 - Site Visit. Offerors or quoters are Urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
