The Fire Department is in need of a Fire Protection Engineering Service that reviews New Building/Tenant Improvement Plans related to Fire Codes and Regulations. The Fire Department does not have anyone currently in the Fire Prevention Bureau to perform this function at this time.

The Fire Department must approve New Buildings/Building Improvement plans to make sure contractors are following the proper Fire Codes and Regulations. This helps reduce loss of life from poor design and helps reduce fire damage to property.
