Surfside Village Resurfacing (Fiberized Surfacing)

NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR SURFSIDE VILLAGE RESURFACING City Project No. ST2602

The City of Port Hueneme (“City”) will receive sealed bids for the SURFSIDE VILLAGE RESURFACING (Project No. ST2602) at the City Clerk's office no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025. At that time or shortly thereafter, all bids will be opened and read aloud.

The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. Work includes but is not limited to resurfacing the majority of the Surfside Village Streets with two layers of Fiberized Slurry Seal. The bottom layer will be Fiberized Type III Slurry Seal and the top layer will be Fiberized Type II Slurry Seal. The approximate street paved area is 97,000 square feet. The full scope of work is more specifically described in the Contract Documents.

This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer.
