SSLC Maxwell Lane Roadway Improvement Project

Invitation to Bid:
The City of South Salt Lake will accept sealed bids for the project titled: South Salt Lake Maxwell Lane Roadway Improvements until 2:00 p.m. on July 25, 2025. Bids received
after 2:00 p.m. will not be opened.
This project will be a Federally Financed Community Development Project. All rules and regulations governing such projects will be applicable. The contract is to be awarded to the lowest responsible and reasonable bidder, whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in the request for bids. Requirements for prevailing wage rates and certified payrolls apply in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act. Work to be completed under this project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and is subject to Build America, Buy America (BABA).
The scope of work for this contract includes providing all labor, material, equipment and tools necessary for removal of existing asphalt pavement section, excavation, untreated
base course, concrete and asphalt pavement, adjusting of manholes and water valve boxes to finished grade, and removal and replacement of curb and gutter and sidewalk /
driveways, and all other work as contained in the contract documents.
Plans and specifications for the project can be obtained at U3P (Utah Public Procurement Place) Bonfire, or examined at the City Finance Department on the 2nd floor at 220 East
Morris Avenue, South Salt Lake City, Utah after 9:00 a.m. on July 7, 2025. A hard copy of the plans and specifications can be obtained from the City Finance Department for a nonrefundable fee of $50.00. Sealed bids will be open and read aloud at 2:30 p.m. on July 25, 2025 at 220 East Morris Avenue, South Salt Lake City, Utah in the city council chambers. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
