Summary:This Request for Proposal is designed to better understand your organizations’ capabilities to serve Franklin County Government in the areas of health claims administration, network management, case and disease management. Claims and current benefit information is being provided; please prepare recommendations and pricing for our consideration.
Franklin County Government (VA) is located in Rocky Mount, VA 24151. They have approximately 400 benefit eligible for the health plans. Employees live in VA and NC. Please use zip code 24151 with a 50-mile radius to capture the service area of the provider network. Currently, Franklin County Government (VA) provides health plan to its full-time and (working 30 or more hours) employees. Health plan services have been provided by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for the last few years. A copy of the current plan designs can be requested at nsodano@piercegroupbenefits.com.
This RFP is designed to identify vendor partners who can demonstrate industry leading capabilities in support of superior claims management, service, and cost containment strategies, and who, in turn, are willing to make resource commitments to the County that:
1. Effectively engage County employees in targeted disease management, risk reduction and wellness programs.
2. Deliver efficient, cost effective and high-quality care.
3. Provide County with specific financial and clinical metrics data that measures program results in relation to the goals and objectives of the County.
4. Deliver innovative strategies and programs that result in cost containment and affordable plan choices for County employees.
5. Provide proactive and highly responsive “best in class” account management services.
