Short Term Lodging and Conference Support Services

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE — This is a notice of the Government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Marriott Hotel Services, Inc, UEI: MS9BQ8GMJRG5 CAGE/NCAGE: 9MEW3 under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source. Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate (AD) intends to award a contract for a performance period of one (1) day to Marriott Hotel Services, Inc for Short Term Lodging and Conference Room Support Services.

DPAA requires breakout rooms, audiovisual equipment, and hardwire internet for Facebook live, YouTube, Vimeo, and Government websites. These will be used to conduct briefings and one-on one meetings with family members of missing service members from WWII, the Korean War, the Cold War, and the Vietnam War. DPAA will brief these families on the U.S. government’s efforts to recover their loved one’s remains and return them to their families for burial with full military honors. Meeting rooms and audio video support will be for one day on May 3, 2025. The hotel/motel shall be located within five (5) miles of Bellevue, WA and in a setting within reasonable walking distance to food establishments. Additionally, as this will be an all-day event, the government is also requiring the hotel to provide light refreshments for May 3rd 2025.

The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110 – Hotels (Except Casino Hotels) and Motels.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and submit a capability statement for this requirement by 12:00 PM, EDT on April 24, 2025 to waun.a.priest.civ@mail.mil and jeanelle.joseph.civ@mail.mil

A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
