(16) Description: The scope of this requirement is to perform clearing and grubbing of all vegetation along whole length (approx. 7 miles) of perimeter fence. All vegetation will be cleared within 10 feet of both sides down to, no higher than, 3 inches, and all vegetation within 20 feet overhead. Remove any vegetation that is growing in the fence, fence fabric, posts, and gates. The scope of this requirement is also to grind/chip brush and wood that is on the East side of SAAF. Wood chips should be reduced to 2” x 2” x 4” or smaller at 95% accuracy. Any wood not able to be reduced to the required size will need to be hauled off and disposed of off Fort Leavenworth by the contractor.
