Notice of Intent - Sole Source - Voyis 3D Discovery Stereo System

SINGLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT

This is an advance notice announcing the intent of the Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to Voyis Imaging, Inc. to obtain the Voyis Discovery 3D Stereo Camera System rated for 300M depth necessary for USACE personnel to perform underwater inspections of navigable river structures to include locks and dams.

The contract would allow USACE personnel to fulfill its duties and responsibilities with the Nasvhille District's (LRN) Operations and Maintenance Navigation Branch mission to perform underwater inspections of critical infrastructure to include locks and dams on the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers.

Description of Services: The contract shall be composed of the supply of one (1) Voyis Discovery 3D Stereo Camera System rated for 300M depth to provide for integrated real time 3-D modeling and high resolution photogrammetry and training on the equipment.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing; Size Standard - 1,350 Employees. The proposed contract action is for supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven (7) days after date of publication will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
