The Houston Health Department (HHD) will provide meals or meal vouchers to persons in the community through the Houston Meals for the Elderly (H.o.M.E.). The H.o.M.E. project was originally created to serve seniors 60 years and older.
The goal of the project this year is to deliver ~2300 hot "individual packaged" meals on Thanksgiving Day (November 28th) to individuals 60 years and older, who would have difficulty obtaining a meal on heir own.The Houston Health Department (HHD) will provide meals or meal vouchers to persons in the community through the Houston Meals for the Elderly (H.o.M.E.).
