Synopsis:
|
|
The Western Development Museum (WDM) invites qualified fire protection contractors to submit proposals for the complete rebuild of the existing sprinkler riser tree located in the Curatorial & Corporate Services Centre (CCSC) at 2935 Lorne Avenue in Saskatoon.
This project includes replacement of existing alarm-check valve assemblies, supervisory and waterflow devices, trim piping, drains, and gauges; installation of a new 10-inch Double Check Valve Assembly (DCVA); integration of all new devices with the existing Edwards IO1000 fire alarm system; and removal of the existing water-motor gong.
The intent of this project is to restore system reliability, eliminate known leak and pressure issues and provide a stable fire protection backbone ahead of planned construction work.
