Project: Station Philadelphia Boat Bay floor restoration/Epoxy

Address: 1 Washington Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19147

Client: United States Coast Guard

  1. Project Overview

This scope of work details the renewal of the station’s boat bay. Total boat bay square footage is approx. 1700sqft. The work includes grinding, filling, and laying new flake epoxy with a grit topcoat.

  1. Detailed overview.

• If needed, utilize traffic cones and yellow tape to properly restrict access to the working areas.

• Thoroughly clean the floor to remove any dirt, oil, grease, or other contaminants. Use a degreaser if necessary.

• Fill any cracks or holes with polyurea crack filler and allow it to cure. (if included in the above scope of work)

• Using our commercial grade concrete grinders, grind to a surface profile of 2 to 3. This ensures proper adhesion of the coatings system. (1/16"depth)

• Conduct a moisture & humidity check before application process begins.

• Apply epoxy coating system to concrete floor, followed by a heavy broadcast flake of color. Shave flakes and clean up all debris.
