Door Locks, Levers & Hardware

Project Description: North Sanpete School District is seeking bids to provide and install new door locks and hardware at multiple schools throughout the North Sanpete School District.
Bidders are invited to carefully examine the sites to develop a comprehensive plan for bidding and to complete work.
Work must be completed by July 18, 2025.
Specifications:
● Provide and install door locks and hardware at the following schools:
North Sanpete High School, 390 E 700 S, Mt. Pleasant, UT
North Sanpete Middle School, 655 E 100 S, Moroni, UT
Mount Pleasant Elementary, 579 S 400 E, Mt. Pleasant, UT
Pleasant Creek School, 111 E 100 S, Mt. Pleasant, UT
Fairview Elementary, 651 E 150 N, Fairview, UT
Spring City Elementary, 100 N 453 E, Spring City, UT
Moroni Elementary, 98 N 200 W, Moroni, UT
Fountain Green Elementary, 395 W 100 S, Fountain Green, UT
● Manufacturer shall be Schlage Brand.
● Exterior & Main offices areas door locks/ hardware shall be Grade 1 with interchangeable core.
● Classroom door locks and hardware shall be minimum Grade 2 with interchangeable core where existing and standard/conventional core where existing.
● Bidders are to provide Schlage 0 bit Primus cores in large format 6 pin C keyway and North Sanpete School District is to pin the key cores.
● All door hardware color/finish to be Satin Chrome-626
● Door Levers to be Vandlgard hardware in grade 1 or 2 as specified above.
● All site work to be finished into a complete project.
● Commissioning to take place in accordance with equipment manufacturer and final hand off to district officials.
● Installation must meet all fire code and safety requirements.
● All garbage, trash and debris to be picked daily.
● Any unforeseen conditions needing revisions shall be quoted and repaired as an additional work or change order.
● All penetrations and terminations must be sealed and weathertight.
AWARD OF CONTRACT
Owner (North Sanpete School District) reserves the right to waive informalities, and irregularities in bids received and to accept the bid which, in the owner’s judgment, is in the owner’s best interests. The owner reserves the right to determine “equivalency” of requested products. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of the North Sanpete School District.
The award of contract shall not be based solely upon the bidding contractor’s price. The contractor’s qualifications, schedule of completion, system design, sub contractor’s qualifications, and proposed equipment submittals will also be considered in awarding the contract. Project design and equipment submittals must be included in final bids.
Bids will be accepted until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
