Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO MODIFY EXISTING CONTRACT(S). The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise Medical Services Contracting Division (EMS-CD), Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to modify the existing Medical “Q”-Coded Services (MQS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to extend the ordering period for five (5) months pursuant to DFARS 217.204(e)(i)(B). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.



The Military Health System (MHS) requires continued non-personal medical support services to supplement medical staff at Department of Defense (DoD) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) within the 50 United States of America, District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico with credentialed (privileged and non-privileged) and non-credentialed health care workers in the following market segments: physician services, dental services, ancillary services, and nursing services.



Action(s) Being Taken: The existing ordering period on the MQS contracts will be extended to 31 March 2025; J&A attached. Medical “Q”-Coded Services (MQS) Modification to Extend the Ordering Period.



Disclaimer: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to modify existing contracts under the authority of FAR 6.302. The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government Responses received will NOT be considered.
