Solicitation Description
This solicitation is to inform potential offerors that the WNY Healthcare Systems; Buffalo, NY VA Medical Center will be posting a solicitation (36C24225Q0184) on or about December 20, 2024, for Commissioning services for SPS Construction period services. The commissioning Agent will employ commissioning practices tailored to the size and complexity of the project and its system components in order to verify performance, integration of building components and systems and help ensure that design requirements are met. This should include an experienced commissioning provider, inclusion of commissioning specifications, a commissioning plan, verification of the installation and performance of systems to be commissioned, and a commissioning report. All work to be perform at the Buffalo, NY VA Medical Centers.
General scope of work includes:
The Sterile Processing Department has equipment that has passed the service life and does not have adequate HVAC capacity. The Buffalo VAMC requires a Commissioning Agent to perform commissioning practices to the size and comp0lexity of the project.
It has been determined that there are enough qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Own Small Business (SDVOSB) firms that are capable of performing under NAICS Code 541690 " Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services", with a size standard of $19.0M. Therefore, this procurement is 100% set-aside for a SDVOSB. The magnitude of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. It is anticipated this contract will be awarded o/a January 2025.
OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL
Solicitation materials consisting of the information for quote details, specifications, drawings, and contract forms will be available on the solicitation and in electronic format only. Should be available on or about December 20, 2024.
SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be emailed to each vendor individually. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Vendors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation by the due date of the RFQ.
Once the solicitation is released, quotes will be accepted electronically only, due to ongoing safety concerns regarding the COVID -19 pandemic.
