Engineering Design Services: Mossy Head Industrial Park Additional Access Rd and Intersection Improvement Project

The County has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from interested and qualified engineering firms (Proposers), licensed to practice in the State of Florida, offering to provide engineering design plans for the Engineering Design Services: Mossy Head Industrial Park Additional Access Rd and Intersection Improvement Project (Project), in accordance with the specifications stated herein. This Project includes survey, design and permitting for a new access road to the Northwest Florida Commerce Park in Mossy Head that will include intersection improvements at the proposed US 90 connection as well as crossing the existing Florida Gulf and Atlantic Railroad easement located south of US 90. The proposed scope of services will include survey, geotechnical, roadway design, utility coordinati on, stormwater design, railroad crossing design and authorization and all associated permitting required for the new construction of a roadway connecting Mossy Head Plaza Drive to US 90 at the intersection of the Mossy Head Elementary School Access Road. Proposers shall be FDOT certified, and documentation shall be included with submittals responsive to this RFQ.

This solicitation is made in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 287.055, Laws of Florida, known as the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) and with the specifications stated herein.
