Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.



The government requires a set of custom fabricated forklift tines that will fit onto a 2021 HOIST P650, P-Seres forklift. Current forklift information:




  • P Series Hoist Material Handling

  • 65,000 lbs load capacity

  • Model: P650@48

  • Serial no: 31578



Below is the customized characteristics of what the Government is looking for:



Forkilft Configuration Needed:




  1. The top of the fork to keep pin measurements are: 4 9⁄16” X 11 ¾”

  2. Pin hole has a 2 5⁄8” diameter, The pin runs through the top portion of the fork.

  3. Height of the fork should be 40” – 41”

  4. Length of each tine is 96”

  5. Each tine should measure: 4” x 11 ¾”, minimum width is 11”

  6. Tip of the tine should measure 1 3⁄8”

  7. The tine should start to taper at 30” to the tip

The government is aware that a thinner tine will impact load capacity. Interested vendors should address the new load capacity rating for these customized forklift tines.



Interested vendors should address the following:




  1. Recommend a solution that meets the customer's requirements.

  2. If you recommend a solution with differing characteristics than those specified, explain the product's features and justify how it better fulfills the customer's needs.
