ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of sidewalks, curbing, drainage, parking area, and lawn areas along Sr 0715 and Bond Lane on property owned by West End Fire Company. Bids will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Chestnuthill Township, until 3 PM local time on June 27, 2025, when Bids will be opened and publicly available on PennBid.
The opened bids will be considered and possibly awarded by the Township Board of Supervisors at its regular meeting scheduled for July 1, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building, 271 PA-715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
The Project consists of regrading and installing sidewalks, curbing and drainage facilities along SR 0715 and Bond Lane to include all associated site work.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
All bidding documents are available at no cost at PennBid (www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com)
No pre-bid conference will be held for this project. It is the contractor’s responsibility to visit the site.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage
Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex.
Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
