Sealed bids will be received by Thornbury Township, Delaware County via the PennBID Program (pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 11:00 o'clock AM, prevailing time, on the 2nd day of July 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly read for the Sanitary Sewer Force Main Relocation. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies
licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
The project involves the relocation of approximately 170-feet of the 6-inch effluent force main from the Township’s Wastewater Treatment Plant within the Cheyney Road right-of-way.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
