#8266 Metal Trades Center Bus Duct Install

Project Description: Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking bids for: A contractor to provide labor, materials and equipment for installation of an electrical bus duct system at the Lycoming Engines Metal Trades Center (MTC). The project requires procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of a bus duct system in accordance with the project specifications and applicable codes. Bidding documents are available at no cost, via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, 26 June 2025. Prospective bidders will meet at the north entrance of the Lycoming Engines Metal Trades Center, located at 1145 West 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA. Bids will be accepted until 2:30 PM on Thursday, 10 July 2025, via the PennBid Program. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond of an approved Surety Company, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. Bond or check shall be drawn in favor of Pennsylvania College of Technology. This project is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, of August 15, 1961, P.L. as amended and supplemented. Bids must be in the hands of the undersigned at the stated date and time, when bids will be electronically opened. The College reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding, reject any or all bids, select a single item from any bid, or accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the College.
