Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) intends to award an urgent and necessary short-term bridge sole-source, FSS Task Order (FSS-TO) to Centerra Group, LLC FSS Contract # 47QSWA23D008F, 13530 Dulles Technology Dr Suite 500; UEI: H4H3J7SJCT76 in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.405-6 while the recompete solicitation is developed and competed and subsequent award is reviewed, approved and finalized.



This Bridge FSS-TO, will be awarded to Centerra, the current provider, and will cover 3-months of Armed Security Guard services USPTO facilities in Alexandria, VA, and San Jose, CA, This FSS-TO is needed to avoid any interruption in these critical security services that are required and mandatory for the operation of these USPTO facilities.



The current FSS-TO with Centerra will expire on August 14, 2025 This bridge FSS-TO will be effective August 15, 2025 through November 14, 2025 and may include one 90-day option whose exercise will be wholly dependent on the agency’s ability, at the earliest possible date, to solicit and award a new long term FSS-BPA and concurrent BPA Call that meets the mandate expressed in Executive Order 14222, entitled "Implementing the President's ‘Department of Government Efficiency' Cost Efficiency Initiative."
