Project Description: South Jordan City desires to receive Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from construction companies, hereinafter referred to as “Contractor(s)”. The intent of this solicitation is to pre-qualify a minimum of three (3) Contractors and a maximum of five (5) Contractors who will be invited to participate in a close Request for Bid (RFB) process to perform construction services for the South Jordan City 8.4-Million-Gallon Culinary Water Tank project. The process is a two-step process. This step is the Pre-Qualification phase. Once qualified, the Contractors will be invited to a closed Request for Bid.
Pre-qualification process is mandatory and only prequalified contractors will be allowed to submit a bid.

Contractors need to examine the RFQ carefully to become thoroughly familiar with all conditions and requirements that may affect the work to be performed under the contract. Contractors are expected to follow all local, city, state, and federal standards, codes, and specifications.
Contractors shall review the RFQ in order to provide a statement of qualifications that covers the minimum requirements. Minimum Requirements shall be submitted in order for the proposal to be reviewed and scored.
Complete and submit all needed information and documents required in the RFQ documents.
All questions must be submitted via BONFIRE by the Q&A date/time deadline posted in BONFIRE. Any question emailed or asked of staff will not be answered. While the RFQ is open, communication of any kind made regarding this project with any City employee is prohibited.
To access the State of Utah's procurements online, you must register as a vendor on the BONFIRE website, https://utah.bonfirehub.com/ . If you require assistance during the registration process, you may contact support.bonfire@eunasolutions.com. Registration, email notifications, and electronic responses for all sourcing events (bids, RFPs, etc.) are free under the State of Utah contract with BONFIRE. The City reserves the right to award this bid in full or in part.
All inquiries and responses must be made online via Bonfire. No paper bids will be accepted.
The City reserves the right to reject any Bid if the City believes that it would not be in the best interest of the project or the City. Without limitation, such rejection may be because the Bid is not responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful ability or the Bid or Bidder fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the City, as solely determined by City.
