The City of Redwood City’s Community Development Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Staff Augmentation Professional Building Services for the Building Division. The City intends to select one or more firms to provide as‑needed support in plan review, building inspections, code enforcement, and permitting services during periods of high workload, vacancies, or other operational needs.

About the Services

The City is seeking firms with demonstrated experience in building plan review, inspections, permitting, and code enforcement. Respondents must submit a fee schedule, staffing classifications, and reimbursement percentages for off‑site plan review based on construction valuation.

Prospective consultants shall be willing to execute all terms contained in the Agreement before submitting a proposal. Any potential exceptions to the scope of services or terms of the Agreement should be clearly identified in the response to this RFP. The City may reject proposals that cannot accept the City’s template agreement terms.
