Project Description: The Board of Commissioners of Hampden Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, will accept electronic proposals via PennBid until 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, January27th, 2026, for the following:
Good Hope Station Chilled Water Conversion
The project consists of the demolition of the existing chiller system and associated components. Installation and integration of a new Township procured Trane Chiller system upgrade at the Good Hope Fire Station located at 1200 Good Hope Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
All bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10 %) of the bid.
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net). The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on January 14th, 2026 at 1:00 PM, 209 South Sporting Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Bid Proposals will be opened at 11:15 a.m. on January 27th, 2026, with bid results made available publicly on PennBid.
It is anticipated that the project cost is at least $25,000; therefore, Pennsylvania prevailing wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act will be required.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
