Request for Bids - Broadmoor Street Storm Sewer Replacement & 7031 Johnson Drive Sinkhole Repair

The City of Mission, Kansas, is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Broadmoor Street Storm Sewer Replacement & 7031 Johnson Drive Sinkhole Repair Project. The project includes removal and replacement of existing storm sewer infrastructure, associated pavement restoration, grading, and sinkhole repair near 7031 Johnson Drive. Work shall include all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to complete the project in accordance with the plans prepared by the City of Mission. Bid documents and project specifications may be obtained here or from the Drexel Technologies Plan Room at: https://planroom.drexeltech.com .

Sealed bids for the Broadmoor Street Storm Sewer Replacement & 7031 Johnson Drive Sinkhole Repair Project will be received by the City of Mission, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 6090 Woodson Street, Mission Kansas 66202, until 1:00 p.m. local time on Friday, November 14, 2025. At that time, all sealed bids will be transferred to the City Council Chamber, City Hall, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened.

All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the City Clerk of Mission, Kansas, and clearly marked: “Broadmoor Street Storm Sewer Replacement & 7031 Johnson Drive Sinkhole Repair Project.”

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at: Mission Public Works – 4775 Lamar Ave. on November 7, 2025, 1:00 pm. Questions regarding this project should be submitted in writing via email to Brent Morton no later than 4:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025. Responses to all questions and any addenda will be issued through the Drexel Technologies Plan Room.

The City of Mission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process.
