The Tate-Turner-Kuralt Building was constructed in 1995 and is located at 325 Pittsboro Street, Chapel Hill, NC. The current traction type 2500 lb. rated elevators (DOL #15244, #15245) are original, and each serve five floors. Extensive elevator repairs are needed including the modernization and upgrades to controls, machines, car, wiring, hoist way, pit, cab, doors and communication components. ADA compliant wall control upgrades on each level are required as well.
