1700 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd is a medical research building. The building is served by a roof top unit that was placed into service during 1998. It is an air-cooled Trane packaged Air Handler unit and is rated for 130 Tons cooling, 190KW heat and has two 30HP supply fans and one 20HP return fan. This project will require that the screened-in roofed enclosure be removed to allow for the demolition, removal and installation of the new packaged unit on the roof. The screened-in roof enclosure will then need to be re-installed.
