RFP - Whittier Elementary HVAC Electrification - Electrical Services

Project Description: The Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD), in conjunction with our design-build partner McKinstry, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a vendor to provide the electrical goods and services in relation to the HVAC retrofit to be completed at Whittier Elementary School, located at 1600 S 300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84115.
The scope of work described in this RFP includes the Electrical scope of work associated with the HVAC retrofit work to be completed at the school. The overall scope of work for the project includes Mechanical retrofit work inside the building as well as the installation of the ground loop bore field outside the building. Subcontractors responding to this RFP should include all required trades for the line voltage electrical components of the project. Piping, insulation, mechanical equipment, controls, TAB, etc. work shall be provided through a separate RFP. The drilling, earthwork, and installation of the ground loop system will also be through a separate RFP. Please refer to the construction documents and project specifications included with this RFP for detailed equipment and material installation requirements.
You are instructed to pay special attention to the RFP language regarding the information to be submitted with your proposal and the format of that information. Evaluation of the proposals received will be in accordance with the evaluation criteria contained herein.
ALL questions concerning this solicitation MUST be submitted through the Bonfire system. Only answers issued through the Bonfire system or issued via an authorized and properly issued addendum shall be the official position of the SLCSD.
Any modification to this procurement effort shall be made by addendum issued by the SLCSD Purchasing Department. Only authorized and properly issued addenda shall constitute the official position of the SLCSD and shall be binding.
Anyone submitting a response to this solicitation, with basis in or other communication or information received from sources other than through official addendum, assumes full risk including the possibility of a determination of non-responsiveness and may be rejected at the sole discretion of the SLCSD.
Responses submitted in Bonfire are completely secure. NO ONE can see them until after the solicitation deadline. Therefore, you do not have to wait until the last minute to submit; and you may change your submission any time until the solicitation closes. If you have not completed the submission by the deadline, Bonfire will reject your submission. Please plan well.
