Jail Detention & MEP Upgrades Project

Montgomery County (Ohio) is requesting bids for PP-2026-0052 - Jail Detention & MEP Upgrades Project . All submittals are due before 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 .

The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $ 8,340,000.00 .

The Montgomery County Jail Detention and MEP Upgrade project scope of work contains, but is not limited to:

Engineering:

• Replacement of AHU’s 2,4,5,7 & 8 & associated piping systems
• Environmental controls conversion from pneumatic to DDC & integration into the jail’s environmental controls system
• Electrical distribution upgrades
• Detention lighting replacements
• Water control system updates
• Low voltage security and communication systems updates

Architectural:

• Reconfiguration of existing cells into functional medical exam rooms, mental health treatment rooms, and counseling rooms
• Installation of detention grade furnishings
• Modification of existing cell doors to integrate food ports
• Retrofitting stainless steel shower inserts & seamless coatings
• Installation of anti-jump netting on second floor balconies & stair sections
