The San Juan Water District (District), located in Granite Bay, California, is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consultants to provide Engineering Services for the Air Release Valve Replacement Program (Program).

The selected consultant will provide planning, design, bidding support and construction support services for the replacement of existing ARV's within the District’s retail water system for the next three years of the Program (current year and the following two years). Each year the Consultant will be expected to evaluate 60 ARV’s and prepare final design for 45 of these ARV's.

Request for Proposal (RFP) packets may be obtained from the http://www.publicpurchase.com. The RFP packet may also be examined at the District’s office, with prior notice to the District’s representative (Mark Hargrove, mhargrove@sjwd.org, (916) 791-6951, located at 9935 Auburn Folsom Road, Granite Bay, California). Hard copies will not be provided to prospective firms.

All proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m. on February 4, 2026. The District will hold a mandatory pre-proposal meeting at the District’s office at 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026. Interested firms should submit their technical and cost proposal(s) in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf, unlocked and printable) format by e-mail to the District’s representative. Firms shall refer to RFP packet for additional instructions and conditions.
