Description
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) is soliciting proposals from qualified responders to develop an online, self-paced, asynchronous professional learning course on MDE’s Canvas platform to support the development of effective K-12 computer science (CS) educators by developing their skills and pedagogical understanding in order to provide equitable and effective CS instruction to all students. The course should include modules that introduce each of the Computer Science Teacher Association (CSTA) Standards for CS Teachers, as well as the associated indicators, through a lens of the recommendations within the Minnesota State Strategic Plan for CS. It should support teachers who will teach CS in either a stand-alone or integrated format and should prioritize culturally responsive teaching practices.
MDE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING PROPOSALS OUTSIDE OF SWIFT. RESPONSES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN THE eSUPPLIER PORTAL OF SWIFT.
